The Resonant Rogues craft fresh songs from a variety of vintage styles, featuring vocal harmonies accompanied by accordion, guitar, banjo, fiddle, and upright bass. With a passion for folk music that spans continents and oceans, The Rogues weave the threads of Appalachian folk, Swing Manouche, Vintage Country, and Euro folk together into a beautiful tapestry that simultaneously showcases tradition and innovation.

Prepare a five-minute tale about a love that made you go OUCH. The agony of deferred love! The misery of good love, gone bad! The anguish of one-way love! Bring stories of your heart, kicked to the curb by the people or places or things you love…or used to love. Love that “Hurts So Good” also welcome.
Tickets are $17.25 and available one week in advance. Doors open at 6pm, Stories begins at 7pm. Cocktails available at the bar. Guided tour of the historic Olympia Theater during intermission.

Gabriela Fernandez is half Venezuelan, half Spanish, but a Miamian at heart. She studied theater in Madrid, in one of the cities’ most important schools: Laboratorio de Teatro William Layton. Once graduated, migrated to Miami out of love. She is the proud founder, director and producer of the Front Yard Theatre Collective and works full time at the Olympia Theater.

An interactive pre-show party takes place one hour before showtime with opportunities to meet the cast, snap selfies and play games so be sure to come and get your seats early! hailing from around the world. The Broadway-style opening and closing singing and dancing add another level of storytelling and magic to the experience.

The main event lasts approximately 90 minutes, with a brief intermission. Attendees are encouraged to stay after the show to mingle with the performers and take group photos on stage with the cast for no additional charge. The show will be presented by our bilingual Ringmaster in Spanish and English and the majority of our performers are Spanish/English speaking (in addition to many other languages.)
Tickets are $5 more at the door than prices online, so save time and money and buy online in advance. When we sell out online there are no tickets available at the door. Our Sensory Friendly show is on Thursday, Feb 6th at 7pm. This is a quieter version of the show to accommodate those with sensory overload concerns and outbursts around the theater are encouraged and expected!
