Microbreweries have become a trending topic in Miami, so it’s no surprise that within the last couple of years these handcrafting havens are popping up on the radar. Brewmasters are inspired to introduce the craft beer market to south Florida, with some of the most popular breweries right here in Miami.

Wynwood is the perfect starting place for your microbrew experience, offering three different microbreweries a short walking distance apart:

The Wynwood Brewing Company

What makes this brewery so special is its home-away-from-home feel. Take a seat, and relax with your friends or grab some food from the food truck outside. However, don’t be fooled by its laid back personality, if you’re a beer enthusiast you can rest assured that WBco uses premium products from the U.S., England, New Zealand and the Czech Republic in every beer. And like many breweries WBco offers tours.

Celebrating its first year serving the humble people of Wynwood, Concrete Beach Brewery offers the complete experience. The bar makes a full circle through the indoor and outdoor spaces bringing beer lovers together throughout the night. Enthusiasts and adventurists feel free to experience the beer on nitro for a smooth and flavorful taste. Plus check out their brewery’s free tour and events.

J Wakefield Brewing

JWB Wynwood

This bar is all about the love of beer and classics like Star Wars and comics. In true Art District fashion, you’ll enjoy your brew next to Darth Vader and Yoda- cheers! The JWB Berliner Weiss is ranked 8th of the top 10 beers in the world. Take a sip and you’ll see why for yourself. Even if a Weiss is not your cup of brew, the flavors and balanced tones in this original recipe are perfect. While the ambiance is artistically pleasing, this spot is made to enhance your experience of their refined beers.

Can’t make it out to Wynwood? Check these out:

MIA Beer Company

Miami Beer Company

This microbrewery isn’t messing around. Located in Doral, MIA Beer Company like many breweries in Miami, love the culture of its city- and what better way to express it than through the art of beer crafting. Respectfully earning the title The Bruhaus, you can enjoy your Domino Pilsner while listening to live music or with a bite from their menu.

The Abbey Brewing Company

Abbey Beer Miami Beach

The Abbey Brewing Company, located in Miami Beach is the older brother of the Miami breweries, opening its doors in June of 1995. Not the typical Miami Beach vibe, the Abbey offers a low-key atmosphere far from the typical South Beach party scene. After 20 years of service, these guys have perfected their vibes and brews.

Although these breweries share a common Miami culture, they each have something unique to offer to the Weiss, Pilsners, and IPA-ers in all of us. Hop-py drinking!
