As we all know, Miami is a city very much alive. With pricey events constantly on the horizon, it’s nice to throw local and affordable fun into the mix. This isn’t your typical Florida touristy “free things to do in Miami on a budget” list. While we love the beach and Miami sightseeing, these local events will feed you inner passion for the culture; on a budget.

Something to Namaste About

Yoga at the Mondrian South Beach

As Miamian’s, it’s easy to let the weekly hustle and bustle get the best of us. Yoga is a great way to relieve that stress, but some yoga studios can be rather pricey. The Mondrian South Beach offers FREE yoga classes every Sunday at 9 a.m. by, Green Monkey Yoga. A great morning practice with an even better view. Breathe in the relaxation, breathe out the stress. Namaste.

The All-in-One

If you haven’t enjoyed the Wynwood art walk by now, then you probably should, considering it’s free. But if you’re anything like me, you’ve probably done Art Walk so many times, you’re starting to feel like you should charge for tours. Luckily, this all-in-one is not about The Wynwood Art Walk, but a relatively new experience. The Wynwood Yard offers a variety of free and affordable events on a daily basis. Anything from concerts, brunch, mic nights, and food. You name it, they’re on it.

This Tabs on Us

The Miami craft beer industry is taking off. Whether you’re looking to expand your knowledge on beer crafting, or just looking for a different way to experience Wynwood, Concrete Beach Brewery is they way to go. Enjoy a free brew tour  Wednesdays- Sundays. Then, stay and try a flight of beers for under $10. Count us in! But, don’t be fooled by this brewery, they offer more than just beer, check out their monthly schedule for more events.

For The Concert Junkie

The Miami live music scene is on the rise and so is North Beach Bandshell. With a variety of music concerts and events happening every week, this beachside amphitheater is one of our favorite live music venues. Most of their concerts are free and affordable. Plus, who can turn down a night on the beach? Not us.
